Poolside by CGT Commercial Pool Surface Care Manual
What Is the Ideal Calcium Hardness Level for a Pool?
Calcium levels should be kept at a minimum level of 200 ppm to avoid creating corrosive conditions. Calcium levels over 500 ppm may cause problems such as cloudy water or scaling on the surface of the membrane.
Maintaining calcium hardness above 200 ppm helps prevent corrosive water conditions, while levels above 500 ppm may cause scaling and cloudy water. Poolside by CGT recommends maintaining proper calcium hardness levels to prevent both corrosion and surface scaling.
